The Highlanders Synchronize Skating Team offers beginner synchro and beginner adult synchro classes in 6-10 week blocks throughout the year. The purpose of these classes is to learn a synchro routine to compete at a local (Greater Seattle Area) competition. Sometimes the routine will also be performed at one of Highland’s ice shows.
Founded in 2013, The Highlanders team is the stepping stone to competitive synchro in the greater Seattle area. The purpose of The Highlanders is to install a love of synchro while teaching the foundational elements. The Highlanders allows skaters to have an opportunity to try synchro without having to commit to a year-long, competitive traveling team.
