Washington Wild Girls' Beginner Learn to Play Hockey Classes: Hockey 1 and Hockey 2


Western Washington Female Hockey Association (WWFHA)'s Beginner Washington Wild Program is a class for females to learn to skate and play hockey, ages 4 to 9 years old* at Highland Ice Arena - Shoreline.

There are 2 classes available:
(1) Learn to Skate and Basic Hockey Skills
(2) Learn to Skate and Play Hockey

Classes are modules base on USA Hockey's ADM model. Sessions can be taken over and over again until the player feels like she has mastered the basics, and before she is assigned to a team.

WWFHA creates a supportive and positive girl-centric environment for learning the skills, techniques, systems and strategies of the female hockey game... in a fun and entertaining way! Come join us on the ice!

Duration: 10 weeks


Class: $154 beginner program cost paid online (see link below)

USA Hockey Membership / Insurance: $49 paid online prior to registration (USA Hockey number needed for online registration) – 1 year membership (free for girls 6 years old and younger)


Provide your own gear and/or rent gear - more info at link below

Each player received a Free hockey jersey and pair of hockey socks
